The heifers handle well in the yards, they do push a little as a group in a tight yard, however through the lead up and race they handle calmly and with ease. A few heifers stirred in the crush but settled once returned to the group.

A very good line of 39 x 2024 Drop PTIC Angus Heifers. Bongongo Blood heifers joined to high performing and proven Hazeldean LBW Sires S1226 and S187. Purchased in spring 2025 as the lead draft of heifers from the Boyd Family (Wyangle) at Tumut. The heifers present well as group and exhibit depth and width. The vendors have done a great job in back grounding the heifers, attention to detail and husbandry is second to none. The heifers are well grown and developed without being overdone. They will continue to mature into medium to large frame females. The heifers are to commence calving in mid August for 6 weeks. An opportunity for buyers to purchase heifers with 20 years of leading Bongongo genetics joined to proven Hazeldean sires, given the chance they will be productive breeders of the future.
