Excellent quality line of young composite PTIC cows that are rising 3 & 4 year-old to calve March/ April. Genetics used are from Paringa, Hicks, Blue-E with selection based on high growth, temperament, and low birthweight. The vendor is very passionate about performance recording with feedback from previous purchasers of the steers confirming well above average growth rates. In recent years every heifer has been genomically tested in order to fast-track genetic gain. These cattle are run on steep hill native hill country and where fertility is put under pressure every year, with the result being a female herd that is highly resilient and fertile. These cows will be a great asset for any autumn calving program providing plenty of hybrid vigour and excellent value being on the point of calving. Their temperament is a real feature, all being assessed as quiet natured and suitable for any ability. Please note; vendor also has 27 PTIC heifers in this sale if looking to make up a B-Double.
