Exceptional line of PTIC Rennylea Angus heifers, to calve March/ April 2023. These heifers are from an outstanding herd and are in calf to RENNYLEA S1481- a top shelf heifer bull with EBVs in the top 10% for; calving ease DIR (+8.6) and gestation length (-8.5). He also comes with top 10% for Angus Breeding Index ($251) and top 1% for IMF (+6.7). The Skinners are very passionate Angus breeders and have been using AI throughout the herd for the past six years to turbo charge genetic gain. Recently a steer from the skinners was successful in the Royal Queensland awards winning the Gold medal in the Branded Beef open class, featuring marble score of 7+. These heifers would be ideal for the smaller operator, all being nice and quiet to handle, or would be equally suited to the most discerning Angus breeder.
