On the day there was plenty happening, with the yards being at full capacity, cattle being bought in fresh from the paddock, calves being drafted off their mothers for marking, as well as cows being put up the race for weighing and needling. All happening in a small timeframe before being returned to the paddock. Considering all of this, there was the odd cow that was slightly stirry and a bit stubborn but overall cattle handled very well in a noisy, stressful environment.

On offer is 40x41 rising 7, 8 & 9 year old Angus cows with Bongongo Blood CAF. Vendor is leasing out their property in the coming months which has bought on the sale of their breeding stock. Cows present in good condition whist having nice sappy calves on them. On the day of assessing the cows were given a 7in1 booster and the calves were all marked and given a 5in1. Calves weights were not recorded on the day but has seen in the photos they are fresh and on the do. Besides the set of twin calves which are obviously smaller, the balance of the calves are very even. These females were all purchased account the breeder from Auctionplus and have now been intermingled on the property for several years. Vendor has always kept up best practice with the breeding herd with preg testing each year and any empties removed from the property. These are good quality mature aged cows that have produced high performing progeny each year and should continue to for the purchaser.
