Cattle would benefit from extra handling. Cattle move off quickly when pressured in small yards, but in larger yards are happy not to rush if the pressure is kept off, and are handled in a correct manner and by an experienced stockperson. Typical of the breed. (see video)

40 PTIC 4 to 8mths Brahman and Brahman X Heifers, (No 8's), presenting in fresh condition, with a liveweight range at assessment of 327kg to 504kg, for a projected average delivery weight of 395kg after an 8% curfew. Heifers are all frame, in good calving condition. Heifers were joined in a larger mob with 19 Brangus bulls, and 1 Brahman bull. Vendor purchased heifers to keep for breeders, although unforseen circumstances have resulted in a change of program for the vendor. Heifers would benefit from extra handling, and a large % would quieten down nicely shown the correct procedures, as they have improved with every handling. When not pressured, heifers are happy to have people around them in larger yards. (see video) Anything that is declared visably too close to calving at time of loading will be kept out of the lot, following fit to load guidelines.
