The Proudfords have invested in excellent facilities to handle and wean their cattle. They run all the weaners through a 7 day yard weaning program and focus heavily on culling any cattle with temperament issues. These heifers are quiet and well handled.

Assessor Comments
An excellent line of PTIC Angus Heifers. Proudford Ag have been purchasing bulls off Reiland for the past 15 years their focus has been on positive fat, low birth weight, 400 & 600 day growth. The vendors class their heifers annually prior to joining on confirmation, type & temperament. These heifers were all selected to be retained in the herd and joined. Due to seasonal conditions they have decided to sell this line of classed in breeders. The quality of the genetics shows in these heifers which are well grown and in ideal condition for this stage of the pregnancy. They would be an asset to any Angus herd and will make excellent matrons for years to come. An odd heifer with warts/ring worm.
