Cattle flowed well through the yards and were easy to draft off calves. Two heifers in particular became nervous when singled out.

A quality line of 42 x 2.5 to 3.5 year old Angus heifers, station mated to ‘Mooginella’ Angus bulls with their first calf at foot. These heifers present in store to forward store condition and were a pleasure to handle in the yards with great temperament. This is a good opportunity to secure young females with 5 to 6 month old, unmarked calves at foot, showing good growth for their age with an average weight of 218kg. Calves sired by 'Mooginella' Angus bulls. Sex break up; 24 x bull calves, and 18 x heifer calves. At assessment 13 calves were noticed to have blue eye scarring, of the 13, 1 calf noticed to have one blue eye scarring and 1 eye with active pink eye which was treated at assessment. 3 bull calves noticed have scurrs. 15 x heifers were noticed to have white utters. 11 x heifers noticed to have blue eye scarring, and 2 x heifers noticed to have a small lump on jaw line, not considered detrimental to the health of the heifer.
