Cows flowed well through yards and up race at assessment. There was the odd Brahman cow that stirred a little under pressure in a confined area but settled once back with the mob. Cows well worked on a 40 degree day so taking that into consideration are majority quieter side.

Buyers 44 x 44 Crossbred & Brahman X Cows & Calves with good size flatback calves at foot. Cows are best described as medium to large frame and in store condition. Calves range from 1 to 5 months of age and average 130kg sired by Angus Composite & Belmont Red Composite bulls. At assessment 1 x cow noticed with a slight limp and will be assessed at delivery for fit to load & 5 x cows noticed with larger worn teats. Cows are ideal to fatten and split in the new year and will go ahead quickly on green fresh feed.

Cattle have been grazing mostly on Bulloo river flood country which has consisted of native pasture and blue blush but with recent rain the last fortnight the cattle have had access to plenty of fresh feed & will continue to until delivery.
Returned to: Returned to small holding paddock of similar country with plenty of fresh feed.
