Once cows were yarded and sorted they settled and yes the odd cow showed agitation and keen to get back to their calf but most cows handled the process well.

A great opportunity to put a two for one unit out on grass and just add kilograms. Cows are in there working clothes but are definitely starting to do as we start to receive some sort of a season, and are doing a solid job of their calves. Calves are fresh and going ahead in leaps and bounds, all sired by Barwidgee Angus bulls. No doubt some older cows that may be on their last calf but there is still some younger units that you will be able to get another calf out of if that be the plan going forward.
