Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows handled easily through the yards and in the crush. A small number became agitated in the crush however this can be attributed to being pregnancy tested the day prior to assessment. All cattle have been put though a weaning program on horse back and have been mustered with bikes and dogs since weaning. Would encourage buyer of these cows to allow sufficient time for these to settle down once they arrive as cattle can react negatively in strange surroundings especially after a truck trip.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, here is a 2-deck line of very good quality young EU ACCREDITED Santa females that are all PTIC. Young breeders of this quality do not become available very often so they offer an opportunity for a restocker to ramp up breeder numbers for the long term. They are all in calf to an Angus bull and their progeny will be highly sort after cattle to suit any market. These cows demonstrate very good frame with plenty of length of body and depth of barrel. They show outstanding breed character and ooze quality. The vendor has been breeding Santa cattle for at least 40 years with no expense spared when purchasing stud sires. Most cows do have a bit of rubbing around the eyes and neck from Buffalo fly that is currently prevalent. There is also one cow with a capped hip but does not show any ill effects and will not hamper her future breeding capabilities. These females have had at least one calf in the past so make no mistake there is fertility in these females.
