A quality line of 44 Angus x Angus PTIC females, comprising 27 rising 4 year olds (2022 drop) and 17 rising 3 year olds (2023 drop). These females have been preg tested in calf by Piper Street Vets, with all cows carrying calves in their third trimester and due to commence calving from late July through to September (pregnancy certificate available). Joined to registered Angus sires Woonooka M30, Woonooka M34 and Bridgewater 50, these females present an outstanding opportunity to secure proven young breeding females with their productive lives well ahead of them. All cows have successfully reared one or two calves and display excellent maternal traits including calving ease, strong milk production and quiet, workable temperaments. A very even, genuine line weighing 500kg to 670kg to average 585kg after an 18-hour wet curfew. Progeny from these females have consistently performed well and are regularly marketed through local feature weaner sales and AuctionsPlus with excellent results. These cows are presented in excellent health and condition and would be a valuable asset to any commercial breeding operation seeking quality females with proven performance, temperament and longevity. A genuine line of productive young cows with type, doing ability and future on their side.

44 Angus x Angus 2/3 calf cows. These cows are the product of "Deepwater & Woonooka" Angus bulls over purchased Angus cows out of "Lochiel Downs'' Upper Horton, NSW.

Vendor bred, Angus x Angus young females, Registered Woonooka Angus bulls by predominantly Te mania sires.

These cows have been in hand since Thursday last week 14/5 in preparation for the assessment. They were preg tested Monday the 18/5 but have been grazing native pasture, along with quality lucerne hay as necessary, plus DDG pellets on occasion.

A tough sale due to ongoing weather restrictions in New South Wales North West. These 44 females are having their 2nd & 3rd calf are the product of years of a selected breeding program.

In the vet's opinion all of the above females are in their final trimester. Commence calving from the end of June through till September.

Truck access is available from both the Dungowan valley to the south and through Kootingal from the North West. This is not B-Double access.

24 notice is required prior to the delivery of these livestock. In the event of wet weather generally the access is fine within 24 hours.
