The heifers are generally well behaved. There are a few that move away under pressure. As a group when leaving the yards they can rush the gate a bit. A portion of the heifers did display uneasiness on the weigh platform but looked to settle once back in the mob. They would benefit from further education and should settle nicely.

On offer is a nice line of Reiland/ Ardrossan Blood 2020 Drop Angus Heifers PTIC to LBW Hazeldean Bull. Assessed as a group of 44 and offered as 2 x lots of 22. The heifers will be weighed at delivery to distribute an even average weight to both buyers.
Purchased ex APlus from the Anderson Family. The Walteela Herd is a closed herd of Reiland Blood and Ardrossan infusions. The Heifers are to commence calving from late August for 62 days, joined to a yearling Hazeldean bull selected for positive calving ease, low birth weight and positive carcass traits. The heifers present in store to forward store condition and are in ideal order to take on and calve down in the spring.
2 x heifers presented with white on the udder (1 white strip extends to just behind the navel). 3 x heifers have slight eye blemishes from old pink eye scarring.
