Cattle were very quiet in yards and very easy to handle. In the crush 16 presented as slightly stirry. In general cattle are a very quiet line.

Buyers, here is a line of cows and calves mixed in breed. These cows present in mainly store condition and most seem to be doing a pretty good job on their calves however there were 2-3 calves that are a little bit drier (probably off 1st calf heifers). These cows have been continually running with bulls so some of the mothers of the bigger calves could in fact be 3 in 1 units. Please note the male portion of the calves have not as yet been cut. Cows are mainly medium frame with a few smaller and larger frame cows in them. Noted at assessment 1 cow had horns growing slightly into the head but have been tipped, another cow with a needle lump on the neck, 3 cows with old blue eye scarring, 1 cow had a slight lump on the dewlap, no issues expected with any of this. Also a cow that broke her horn in the crush. Cows should really bounce ahead on better feed conditions and would suit a fattener to grow the calves out then fatten and split units off crop or winter herbages.
