Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were generally good to handle in the yards and through the race and crush. Three head were slightly agitated in the crush and exited quickly. In the larger yards they did tend to push through gates as a mob however were quite settled and easy to move and control. They were happy to stand in the yards for the photos and videos.

Assessor Comments
A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus heifers. These heifers were originally selected and retained to enter the vendors breeding herd but are now for sale due to succession planning and a slightly tighter season in the district. They are medium to mostly large frame heifers with good bone and conformation. Most are deep bodied heifers that will grow into good sized mature cows. They are vet PTIC as all red taggers in calf to a Texas Angus bull & Bald Blair bull. Bulls are listed in the assessment and the pregnancy certificate is attached. Two heifers noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye - not considered detrimental. These are very good quality heifers that would make a very nice addition to Angus breeding herds.
