Temperament not assessed in Paddock
The heifers were good to very good to handle in the yards and through the crush. Five head were either slightly agitated in the crush during preg testing. In the bigger yard they moved nice and quietly as a mob but the buffalo fly on the cattle made them uncomfortable when standing still.

Assessor Comments
A line of mostly good to very good quality, medium to large frame heifers. The heifers have been joined to registered Angus bulls and have been PTIC as 2 - 4 months in calf. The Angus bulls are from Mooroobie Angus stud and are heifer suitable bulls (please refer to the Angus Australia website for their Birth Weight EBV's. The heifers are mostly vendor bred at either the vendors property in the Richmond district or at Salisbury creek with the exception of three head which were part of a line of weaners purchased in 2019 from the Goondiwindi district. The heifers had a liveweight range of 348 to 494kg full weight and are moving ahead on very good feed. Two heifers noted with slight blue eye scarring in one eye. Buffalo fly was present on the cattle and one heifer had bite marks and scaring on her near side stomach. The heifers were generally very good to handle in the yards and crush and should continue to grow onto good quality medium to large frame breeders.
