THE ULLADULLA CATTLE HANDLE VERY WELL DUE TO THE TIME AND EFFORT PUT INTO THEM AT WEANING TIME. THE ONLY REASON A HANDFUL WERE SLIGHTLY STIRRY IS BECAUSE THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WITHIN THREE DAYS THAT THEY WERE YARDED, PREG TESTED AGAIN AND ASSESSED.

AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE QUALITY HEIFERS THAT HAVE BEEN JOINED FOR A THREE WEEK PERIOD AND PRESENT IN IDEAL CONDITION FOR THIS PERIOD OF PREGNANCY. THE COMPLETE ULLADULLA HEIFER MOB WERE JOINED FOR A NINE WEEK PERIOD. THE FIRST TWO CYCLES (APPROX 6 WEEKS) HAVE BEEN RETAINED AND THE NEXT CYCLE (APPROX 3 WEEKS) WERE IDENTIFIED AT THE FIRST SCANNING AND KEPT SEPARATE. A SECOND PREG TEST WAS CONDUCTED 12/05/21 AND THE RESULTS ARE CONSISTENT WITH A MID NOVEMBER JOINING FOR THREE WEEKS. THE ULLADULLA HERD IS EU, P-CAS AND NEVER EVER ACCREDITED. THE STEER PORTION OF THE CALVES SERVE MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES FROM BACKGROUNDING, FEEDLOTS AND GRASS FED SLAUGHTER PROGRAMS. FOUR HEIFERS HAD PINK EYE SCARRING, IN ONE EYE BUT STILL HAD SIGHT.
