Established in 2007, Sunland Cattle Co currently run over 10,000 Wagyu Fullblood and Purebred Wagyu. Sunland have used foundation imported and modern proven genetics from Japan, the USA and Australia to build a herd of the highest possible standard. With marbling as the focus, Sunland Wagyu cattle display a perfect balance of all traits. Offering a line of two decks of well-bred PTE cows aging from 9-11 years, weights ranging from 320 to 570kgs (avg. 417kg) in store to prime condition. These cattle have performed well on Central Queensland’s grassland country during a very dry season and are sure to produce a quality Wagyu article wherever they go. Sunland are downsizing their purebred females to make room for Fullblood replacements.
There are three blue-eyed cows in the mob (healed), and one brindle cow. One cow has white markings on forehead. Small percentage of the cows had weaners taken off them mid-June.
