Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a very well bred line of cattle. These cattle are only for sale due to the current dry times in the Merriwa area. These are genuine breeders that have been through the previous drought and have gone back in calf every year in their tight joining period and have remained sound during the trying times. Cows have good quality calves at foot that are already displaying great shape and are sappy. These females display great depth & length of body and are large to medium in frame. The progeny out of these females are sold to Killara feedlot for the 150 day fed program for Jacks creek and have always ranked highly on their marbeling. If you want cattle that are proven and will preform these are the cattle for you! 29 calves were weighed and averaged 84kg at assessment. Cows averaged 594kg at assessment. N.B. 1 head has a very small pink eye scaring which is not deemed detrimental. 7 head were noted to have a small amount of white on their udder.
