Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
These cows are strong but light in condition. Able to travel long distances if fit to load guidelines are followed. All moved through the yards with no issues. These cows have lost a bit of condition since the rain a week ago. These cows look hollowed out in the photos due to them being left out in a laneway away from their calves overnight to allow us to mother them up to best of our ability.

These cows are pretty good to handle in the yards. They are pushy entering the pound from the drafting yard and leaving the pound. Cows move very freely from yard to yard. Cows were good when being mothered, some cows wanted to runback when being taken from the big yard to receiving yards. Cows that were stirry & Slightly Stirry in the crush were from being asked to stand in the crush or on the scales to long or when having NLIS tags replaced. Handled by experienced stockmen/women.

Buyers an opportunity to purchase 48x48 cows & calves with the majority of calves being steers/males.These cows are off the lighter country between Jericho & Blackall & should respond on good feed. Good medium to large framed cows. These cows are doing a very good job on their calves. There is 34 steer calves averaging 109kg, 3 males calves averaging 126kg & 11 heifers averaging 88kg after an overnight curfew. The calves had a 5in1 & a Multi-Min at branding time. These cows and calves were mothered up on farm to the best of our abilities.
