Heifers were good to handle in the paddock and yards at assessment. During individual assessment (crush-side) a large
majority of the heifers were happy to stand without pressure, however when mouthing a few were noted to
be uncomfortable with the close interaction. Heifers were fine in bigger yards in a mob and easy to count through gateway
etc.

A good line of mostly very good quality, young, predominantly red, commercial future breeders with good confirmation. Heifers were Not Station Mated and were PTE/Undetectable. At assessment the following were noted in relation to colour of hide: 5 baldy faced heifers along with another 3 with white belly's, 2 red roan heifers showing strong Shorthorn throwback, and 3 brindle heifers along with 2 black nosed heifers. Heifers were purchased as store heifers to go on to be replacement breeders in December from the GlenMorgan district but due to a change in circumstances, they are back on the market. Mostly tidy heads, no horn present over 2-3inches in length at most. 6 heifers were noted to be tipped but all horn is tidy and close to the head. 1 heifer was noted to have a light dog bite on her near-side hind quarter which would be no detriment to movement or primal cuts. Please note Vendor has other heifers in the Eastern States Sale.
