The heifers were mostly good to handle in the yards and through the race and crush. 10 became slightly agitated in the weigh box or in the crush being preg tested while another head became highly agitated in the crush / weigh box. All settled when back in mob in the larger yards. When being moved in the yards two heifers tended to trot out the front and look for any open gate. Nothing aggressive but needed to be approached and moved calmly.

A good to very good quality line of vendor bred Charolais and Ultrablack cross heifers. They are preg tested in calf to Palgrove or Boongalla Ultrablack bulls. This line of 50 head were PTIC 1 - 3 months as assessment - approx 2 - 4 months by delivery. The EID and months in calf were recorded and is available to the buyer as a datafile. The photos and videos are of both lots combined. On this property all females calve unassisted. The heifers are medium to mostly large frame and most should grow onto big framed cows. One heifer noted with moderate blue eye in off eye and another two with slight blue spots in one eye. One heifer with buffalo mild fly bite/rub marks on her neck. Heifers had a LWR of 275 - 417 kg after a 26 hour wet curfew. They are located right on the Leichhardt Hwy between The Gums and Moonie and would work in with trucks moving north and south. Please note delivery notice required to allow time to draft lines.
