These cows have been run in a large mob under a rotational grazing system. They are easy to handle and respond very well to pressure. Temperament is classed strongly in the herd and any animals not deemed quiet are sold. These cattle receive ample human interaction due the nature of the production system (calves tagged at birth, data collection etc).

Scotts Angus are offering 51x52 cows and calves. Classed in 6-9 year old proven breeder cows direct the Scotts Angus commercial herd plus 18 hd “P” rising 6y/o purchased in - 2022. Decades of quality genetics on offer. Representing the complete group (majority younger - 50% 6 year old - 5 hd 9 yrs) of the later calving and are only being offered due to the tighter winter. A small tail was removed presenting structurally sound cows (9 year olds mouthed sound) that offer years of production and performance. Large framed and presenting in store condition carrying big bags of milk and putting everything into their calves. All calves tagged and marked (steers) at birth, allowing simplistic mothering up. All health treatments are up to date and these cows and calves are starting to move with spring upon us. Ideal for anyone looking to get into some top quality Angus genetics. Please note vendor is offering another line of cows and calves and 134 NSM yearling hefiers in today’s sale also.
