Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Cattle are still strong and healthy. Trucking longer distances i would suggest some planning and possible spelling, sisters very similar have travelled 400kms in one lift with no issues at all. Will be fed hay prior to trucking as well.

Assessor Comments
Good line of Angus heifers and calves, these are the true to type angus heifers that were destined to remained in the breeding herd at Balarang, the seasonal conditions are now forcing their sale. The heifers are good types and with some TLC should turn into nice breeders of the future. Being sold early to make sure they dont go any further backwards. They are milking well, mothered up well and the calves are very fresh and sappy. We did not weight the calves so minimise stress on the units. Calves were all mothered post assessment. Approx 70% of the calves are straight black, 20% would be black baldies with the remainder by Charolais bulls.
