The cows were generally good to handle through the race and crush in a very good set of yards. Ten head were mildly agitated either in or exiting the crush and three head were highly agitated in the crush while being preg tested. In the yards one cow at the beginning of the assessment became agitated when isolated. She settled once other cows were put with her and was not noticeable during photos and videos.

Assessor Comments
A good to very good quality line of vendor bred PTIC cows. These cows are scanned in calf at 6 to 7.5 months to good quality Booroomooka Angus bulls. They are mostly large framed deep bodied cows with approx 30% being medium framed. The cows are by Booroomooka or Eaglehawk bulls and had a LWR of 554 to 826kg. The orange tag cows are the 2018 drop cows and are rising 8 years old. Any cow without a year tag was mouthed at assessment with all being a good sound 8 tooth mouth.The cows come from a Grassland accredited herd and are being sold to reduce numbers and manage the season. Five cows were noted with a slight blue eye spot and one with a mild blue eye spot in one eye. Five cows had slight amount of white on the rear underline or udder, one has a white birthmark spot on the shoulder, and one has some white on the outside of the flank. These cows are part of a mob of 102 head that were assessed and photographed together with 51 listed for sale this week and they will be loaded as a run out the gate. Good good quality PTIC cows that are carrying good genetics and suit a range of restocking options.
