Cows handled well in a familiar surrounding. Any persons with good cattle handling skills would have no issues with these cows. They are cattle that take time to settle down but once the time is taken for them to let their run out they become quiet comfortable as seen in the videos. Cattle on Wandeen are run in large paddocks and in big mobs and in-turn they have run in them and are flighty, but in no way aggressive. Call assessor for any more information on temperament.

Assessor Comments
On offer is an outstanding line of Shorthorn cows rising 5 year old, PTIC to Nero & Marrington Shorthorn Bulls. Cows will commence calving late April for 9 weeks. This article is a credit to the vendors and is an excellent representation of the Shorthorn breed. These are classed in breeders that would not normally be offered for sale and is a great opportunity for anyone to infuse these sort after genetics into an existing herd or be the foundation for a new one. The progeny of the females from Wandeen are highly sort after by local backgrounders and major feedlots for their growth, capacity and overall performance. Buyers please note there were approximately 9 cows with either slight long toes, minor defect with hoof or very slight shuffle nothing detrimental to the cows performance (cannot stress this point enough) and please call for any further clarification. Anything bad was completely taken out. Cows have up to date husbandry practices and present in forward condition.
