Buyers these heifers were great to handle, draft and assess. The vendor has put plenty of time into them when they were purchased as weaners. The occasional heifer was quick through the pound when drafting or in the yards under pressure but all were safe to handle with ease. Approx a third of the heifers were unsettled in the crush when being mouthed/preg tested etc which is understandable. The vendor has spent time and effort educating these heifers and it showed at assessment.

Buyers please consider this line of 52 Vet PTIC Brahman & Brahman x heifers, joined to Angus bulls. Weighing from 304-428 kgs to average 358 kgs at assessment or 343 kgs approx at delivery. Purchased as weaners to utilise excess feed due to good seasons and purposely joined to quality Angus bulls in spring last year. Heifers would make suitable turnover/trade units or continue on as replacement breeders. Heifers were a pleasure to handle and assess in the yards, the vendor said they are good to handle outside of the yards. Heifers are located in a tick free area so no movement restrictions in place. These heifers were blooded as weaners prior to being purchased. Delivery dates subject to weather conditions.
