The Vast Major of these cows were exceptional to handle through the yards, 1 cow stirred after Preg testing and didn't want to go back up the race for assessment and 1 slightly stirred, both cows settled well once back in the herd.

A Unique opportunity to secure an excellent line of young Iron Bark Blood PTIC cows from a well renowned Hereford Herd. Due to prevailing seasonal conditions the vendor will offer approximately half of the Spring Calving Cow herd. The “Fern Hill” cows are true to type white face cattle, displaying pigment, stretch and plenty of volume the cows have all raised calves well with some having calves weaned off them in the last few weeks. These cows having been grazing on short and drying pasture but the majority will present in forward store to prime condition. With more than 30 years breeding of the top of Iron Bark genetics these Matrons will make an ideal inclusion into any breeding herd or the foundation of a Hereford herd. All cows were dehorned as calves but show varying amounts of scur. Please note the cows were assessed in three mobs off two farms but will be all at Fern Hill for delivery. 1 lame cow was accidentally left in the video and has been since removed from the sale mob
