The heifers handled well in a good set of yards. They had been preg tested in the yards earlier in the week and walked through calmly. Cattle will come to vehicle when called and follow to move cells.

A quality line of principally Te Mania blood heifers. The vendor has sold his team Te Mania blood heifers to the breeder of these heifers in previous years. These heifers were purchased because because they are quality heifers that the vendor wanted to join to good bulls and re sell. The bulls which these heifers are joined to are the top end of the Te Mania genetics and vendor used these bulls over his own keeper heifers. These heifers would suit the most astute Angus breeder or someone looking to add quality females to their herd or looking to start an Angus breeding programe.

Heifers running on improved cocksfoot country. Have been broken in to electric fence (single wire), very quiet, will come when called. I usually move them between cells/paddocks in a buggy without a dog. We use horses and dogs if going to the yards.
