Assessor Comments
A good line of 54 Mixed aged cows with 54 good quality calves at foot( 1-5 months of age). These cows have been born and raised in the Mulga country of south west Queensland. Cows have been continuously running with Droughtmaster Bulls so potentially a 3 in1 unit. They present in store to forward store condition and would strive ahead on soft feed whilst continuing to raise a quality calf. Vendor estimates 5-12 years of age however, there were no age brands used please see dentition. At assessment two cows had Blue scarring in an eye but didn't seem to be any problems with vision, one with a capped hip and one cow with a lump on the offside of its jaw. One cow had an enlarged teat. They are ideal units to fatten and spit and take advantage of the current market with the calves averaging 134kg. Buyers note this lot have had 19 x19 Cows and Calves removed from them purely on colours and types. They will be offered in another mob in same sale.
