Heifers behaved very well through the yards during preg testing and assessment, on a very odd time they did become agitated in the race or crush but once they returned within the mob they remained calm.

2 Decks of Vet PTIC Angus Cross heifers joined to Milwillah Angus bulls. These heifers were preg tested 1-5 months in calf by Libby Harriman the Hughenden Vet & were identified with a feather bang tail. They were originally bred in NSW & Southern Qld, before being purchased last year as weaners off the cow & backgorunded in western QLD. Prior to weighing these heifers had 2 solid days of handling so the assessment weights should be very much curfewed. Please note some heifers were showing signs of lice at assessment, it would be advised to treat on induction at buyers property. There are a total of 5 lots available from this vendor within this sale & all have a requested delivery date of Tuesday 27th Aug. A BIG OPPORTUNITY exists to buy reasonably price Angus Cross breeders in calf to Angus bulls.
