These Cows were good to handle in the yard and were generally calm in the crush. The 4 purchased cows were slightly more agitated in crush.

40 Vet Tested PTIC Cows and 18 Cows and Calves that would comfortably fit on a B-Double. The cows vary in age from 2.5 to 13 years however 36 % are 7 years or younger so still have plenty of years left to breed. I did mouth 3 of the cows over 10 years and their teeth were worn but still sound. The 40 dry cows were all pregnancy tested by vet and 32 were found to be 5 to 8 months in calf. These were painted out with pink paint on the loin. The 8 cows that were under 5 months have blue paint on shoulder. The 18 wet cows were bangtailed. 2 cows had what looked like small dog bites but under closer inspection was decided was just fat dimpling. 2 cows did have old fly bites that had nearly healed. The rain during assessment made it difficult getting good photos. These mostly large framed cows averaged 506kg at assessment and should all rear a very good predominantly flatback calf.
