GOOD CATTLE TO WORK WITH. HEIFERS WORKED THROUGH THE YARDS WELL THEY WERE PUT THROUGH A THOROUGH PROCESS OF PREG SCANNING, MOUTHING, WEIGHING AND ASSESSING WITH A DRAFT OFF THE SCALES. CONSIDERING THIS THERE WAS A % OF HEIFERS THAT GOT WORKED UP BUT ALL SETTLED WELL BACK INTO THERE MOBS.

58 ANGUS HEIFERS OFFERED BY THE DARMODY FAMILY. HEIFERS WERE PURCHASED BY GRAEME WARD SPECIFICALLY TO BE JOINED TO THE BONGONGO LBW SIRES. THIS DRAFT OF HEIFERS ARE A MODERATE TO LARGE FRAME IN FORWARD CONDITION. THEY WERE ASSESSED FROM 421 TO 572KG. HEIFERS WERE WEIGHED ON THE 29TH OF AUGUST AND HAVE ACHIEVED 1.2KG A DAY WEIGHT GAINS. PLEASE NOTE 8 HEIFERS WITH 1 X BLUE EYE (PINKEYE SCAR). 2 HEIFERS WITH WHITE MARKINGS UP TO NAVEL. WITH 4MORE HEIFERS WITH WHITE ON UDDER ONLY.
