Heifers were very well behaved in crush. All willingly and easily walked up the race and stepped on the scales. Just a small number that were a tad more anxious in the crush, jumping about a bit, and rocking on the scales, listed above as slightly stirry - which should be forgiven as they were only preg tested about 20 minutes earlier! Exceptionally quiet in the paddock. All walked up and sniff the Ute, not even spooking when opening the door to hop out & do photos & videos. Lovely natured girls

Lovely line of the W & J Lucas Heifers. Offering for the first time on the AuctionsPlus platform, and never usually offering a line of PTIC Heifers to the open market. The Lucas family are renowned producers in the North East, often producing sale topping weaners for the hot Spring store sales. These heifers present an opportunity for a buyer to secure some of these renowned performing bloodlines. Carrying years of Pure Scott’s Angus blood, always selecting sires for high growth figures & good structure, as well as maternal traits such as calving ease & milk. These heifers have an excellent nature, have been very well handled & educated, making them the perfect line of young females to take on to calve down.
