6 cows moved through good facilities and into an off assessing area steadily. No flighty stock observed. Moved through gateways quietly. Vendor has been strict on temperament in herd.
Calves were drafted off and were moving freely, did show fear at close quarters in weigh area, released back with cows with no noticeable issues.

6 first and second calf angus breeding cows, average full weight of 414kgs and have not had access to bulls since dropping these spring drop calves which they are currently rearing. Calves are sired by Macquarie Downs wagyu bulls (bulls id BDWF50550, BDWF22T0043, BDWF 22T0071). 6 Oct-Nov 24 dropped calves, average weight of 161kgs, were marked 22/02/25 and have had no 5-1 vaccinations. Cows were observed and no faults noticed in hips, udders and feet and showed no mobility issues. Cows are producing ample milk and calves are sappy and fresh, strong, healthy wagyu cross progeny, suitable for a wagyu backgrounding operation. Cows will join up readily. Very good young breeders quiet and sound with plenty of years of production ahead.
