The vendor uses low stress cattle handling practices. These cows are usually quiet and well behaved after being yard weaned as calves. They have been bred from unregistered Stud cows with a very strong Te Mania blood influence. Have recently had calves weaned off them and have not settled down after the preg - test - especially with strangers. Vendor had no trouble working with the cows in a very confined forcing yard.

Assessor Comments
6 Very good quality, medium framed 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old cows, which are down in condition after rearing calves which have just been weaned off them. They are fresh in the coat and have good bone and conformation, and have been bred from unregistered Stud cows with a very strong influence of Te Mania bloodlines. They have been tested by the Glen Innes vet as being from 6 to 7 1/2 months in calf to a son of Ayrvale Grade G5, which was extensively used by Farrer Angus Stud at Tamworth, or a son of Te Mania Elaboration. The cows weighed 461 -530kg at assessment.
