Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Typically did not appreciate to much pressure being put on them inside the cattle yards & would generally "burrow" if within a confined area. Once pressure was released and flight zones were calculated they tended to stay a lot calmer. I would suggest this could be a typical trait within the breed & I do not believe there are any ill intentions with their temperament.

Assessor Comments
Paul Webster of Yea, T/As Paul Webster Wagyu is a sixth generation farmer who has been breeding Full Blood Wagyu & Purebred Wagyu for over 10 Years on some of the best local country there is to offer. PWW have had a strong focus on breeding objectives for many years such as high marbling & growth rates to specifically target the restaurant & export trade. Typically the castrated male offspring would be retained on their property until about 30 - 36 months of age & experience a state of the art feeding program, once sold & graded through the MSA program, PWW would generally see 96% of their carcasses achieve marble scores of 8,9 & 9+ which are some of the highest possible ratings in Australia. Genetics have been based on Full Blood Wagyu but unfortunately as these animals are not registered & we have not obtained DNA results for parent verification we cannot prove entire lineage and therefore will be marketed as Purebreds only. Please note this a genuine dispersal sale.
