Cows were good to handle through yards, with a few becoming agitated in crush while weighing. They were preg tested 3 days prior to assessing, which may have caused a few to stir up. Once let into paddock were all content for photos and videos.

Dunan Pastoral, Casterton, Vic will offer 60 Angus Cows, rising 6 years, Pathfinder Bld, PTIC to Sons of RennyLea N1125. Cows are medium/Large frame, they will present in strong healthy to forward store condition, having been weighed at assessment from 500 - 830kg to ave 621kgs, having all only had calves weaned of them 8 weeks ago. Cows are all upto date with husbandry and have all been Preg tested in calf on 19/6, by local vet Jane Gausen and should commence Mid-August for 8 weeks. Annual sale of proven breeding cows of Dunan Pastoral with 180 in this line to be offered as 3 x 60 on a run out the gate basis. A well-established, self-replacing Angus Herd with over 80 years of breeding Angus cattle, this is either through AI or careful bull selection with an emphasis on Fat, Carcass, Muscling and EMA. The progeny off these cows are always keenly sort through local and Northern Feedlots for their Marbling and Doing ability. A terrific chance to acquire a large run of one mark, Vendor Bred cows in the prime of their lives, with the option to keep their daughters for many years to come and set up a great commercial Angus Herd.
