Since being at Mopoke cows have been handled with dogs. Low stress stock handling is used with all cattle in the yards. These cows moved through the yards efficiently, some cows didn't enjoy being mouthed but seemed fine once through the crush and back in the mob. It's worth mentioning that their calves were weaned at assessment and remained just outside the yards which didn't seem to stress the cows.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of PTIC 7 - 9 year-old Angus cows due to calve over the months of August and September. Cows are Twyman Blood and are medium to mostly large frame. These females are enjoying an exceptional season at 'Wyndham' and have just had big sappy weaners taken off them at assessment. Their calves are exceptional with the entire drop averaging 286kgs. Cows are joined to registered JT Angus bulls selected with a focus on early growth, fertility and structure. All cows were mouthed at assessment and are sound. A great opportunity to purchase a full B-Double load of cows calving in the spring.
