Heifers had been through the crush just before assessment for a preg test so there was a small percentage slightly agitated once in the crush but all in all heifers handled it very well and were easy enough to process.

Assessor Comments
A great opportunity to secure a run of well bred Angus heifers that are one mark. This line of heifers are PTIC to Bald Blair bulls that were joined over an 8 week period to start calving from mid September. Heifers are well bred from quality angus cows by Landfall and Kenny Creek angus bulls and were the lead draft from mob 230 claves when purchased back early December of 2022 from Oberon in NSW. Heifers have continued to grow out well and show lots of stretch with plenty of frame. Please note the odd heifer is showing old signs of lice or mite (deemed to be not active now). A great commercial article that is a regrettable sale this close to calving due tightening seasonal conditions. Please see another two lots of PTIC Angus heifers that are a touch later in calving in this same sale.
