Heifers were mustered the day before and trucked to Silverdale Saleyards where they were left overnight on water and then the next morning preg tested and individually weighed and assessed. A handful of the heifers fizzed up slightly in the yards but were easy to draft, in the crush a handful more stirred up but were no problems at all. All heifers were a pleasure to work and are well educated.

Assessor Comments
BUYERS An OPPORTUNITY NOT TO BE MISSED, to purchase a top-quality line of 1 brand charolais x heifers. The heifers are in calf to stud Valera Vale bulls and are very well-educated cattle. The vendor purchased these heifers in one consignment especially to do a PTIC job. The heifers were all bred by renowned producer Bryan Conroy of Mountview Pastoral Company in the Brisbane Valley. Mountview Pastoral Co is a household name on the weaner circuit most commonly topping the Toogoolawah and Silverdale Weaner sales and has done for the last decade. BUYERS PLEASE NOTE THE HEIFERS ARE IN TICKY COUNTRY.

Vendor Comments
Heifers were purchased out of The Annual Silverdale Weaner with the idea of selling as PTIC females. Ideally we would like to have bred from these heifers but due to lack of yard facilities, it was decided that these would be better suited to market.
