AS & KM Cain, Heywood, Vic will offer a quality line of 63 EU accredited Angus Heifers August/September 2023 drop. PTIC to commence 20th of August for 4 weeks, bulls were put in on 20/11 and taken out 17/12 (28 days). Heifers are SAV and GAR bld, and pregnancy tested in calf by Brad Pickford on 17/6/25 to sons of SAV Rainmaker & GAR Hometown, which are low to moderate birth weight, with high growth rates. These Heifers weighed from 300 to 445 kgs to ave 361kgs, they will present in store condition and will come with nice upside if you have feed and can manage calving. Oakbank cattle are run at high stocking rates with the core cow herd medium/moderate frame, with the aim for progeny to have high-explosive growth rates to target feedlot markets. These heifers were all classed in as breeders and are only offered for sale due to the season. Vendors also offering 220 in this sale.
