These cows and calves have been in hand for 2 days mothering them up and are protective of their calves. A few cows when isolated on their own did stirr but settled in a mob.

This lot of cows were purchased as ptic to calve out and put on crop. They would be ideal to put on crop fatten and split. The cows are milking well. The vendors haven’t got any crop in so are selling them as units. The majority of the calves are by Angus bulls and sappy to fresh condition. The cows have had the opportunity to Angus bulls since calving till delivery. 5 cows have caped hips. 2 calves were treated at assessment for pinkeye. 2 calves and 3 cows were observed to have pinkeye scares not detrimental. The vendor has 30 Droughtmaster x cows and calves in the same sale.
