51 x R (2020) & 15 x S (2021) DROP PTIC COWS AI TO TE MANIA SAVOY (IMF EBV +4.3) TO CALVE AUGUST OVER APPROX 3 WEEKS. Wave Hills are one of the most progressive Angus herds in the country, with the latest genetics introduced annually solely through an artificial breeding program (no bulls on the property since 2017). This enables the herd to access the elite Te Mania genetics and rapidly increase genetic gain. They present in strong store condition and are holding up well given the very tough season in the Western Districts – large frame cows that are light in condition. AI sires have consistently been selected for high growth and carcass traits with recent long-fed steer consignments marbling at an average of 4.5 & over 450kg cwt. Very reluctant sale and being offered due to the tough season. A truly remarkable opportunity to purchase some of the best Angus genetics in the country - Wave Hills are offering a total of 5 x B-Double lots of PTIC females in this sale.
