Cows handled well as a group at assessment, with only a small percentage slightly agitated in confined area or when put under pressure. They do have a bit of run in them through gates etc but easy to handle cattle.

GENUINE HERD REDUCTION - GREAT HERD REBUILDING OPPORTUNITY! This is a fantastic line of rising 5 year old PTIC EU Angus cows from a high performing commercial herd, due to commence calving mid-August for 6 weeks. These cows weighed 509kg empty (453-622kg) at assessment and are only in their working clothes after just having a calf weaned off them. Wando Estate always purchase high indexing Barwidgee Angus bulls with a balanced focus on the major profit drivers. All cows are put through the rigours of being run in large mobs under high stocking rates - and have passed the test to conceive a calf every year. A 10% tail was removed from the line at assessment to make a very good quality line of young cows that would make a great addition to most herds or someone looking to get into breeding.
