The heifers are well handled and worked well through the yards. The odd one was a little twitchy on the scales, and/or not fully settled in the race, but really not bad considering they had been through the yards 4 days previously to be preg tested.

A well bred mostly medium framed mob of heifers that are pregnancy tested (4 days prior to assessment) AI'd to the impressive New Zealand bull, Rissington Sovereign Q485 with great Birth, Growth and IMF figures, see EBV sheets attached. The back up bulls were 2 Connamara Angus bulls, see EBV sheets also. The vendor selects bulls for ease of calving and growth. The vendor also has 2 mobs of 33 and 36 PTIC cows ( mostly 2nd calvers) in the same catalogue. These cattle represent the last opportunity to buy the Glenrock breeders, as well over 200 cows and calves were sold in 2023. The discerning buyer has the opportunity to put together 135 PTIC females, one mark in this sale.
At assessment, 5 heifers were seen to have blue eyes, 2 of them only slight, 2 were seen to have warts, and 1 some white underline, see photos.
