Assessor Comments
68 x 68 VGQ CFA Crossbred Cows & Calves. Majority Exhibit Very Good Bone, Length, Depth and Frame. Majority of the Cows have tidy heads, good feet & are quiet. They come from a Highly Regarded Herd & are ideally suited to split & fatten, coming from a Cow herd that usually average around 600kg when fat. Cows were weighed after 20 hours off feed & limited access to water so would expect a big pickup on fresh feed. The Cows range from 2 - 14 years of age with 18 classed out Maiden Heifers included (lighter weights). The calves weighed 38 - 210 kg to av 107 kg with 35 Males (23 Steers) & 33 Heifers (18 Branded). They are sired by VGQ Santa, Braford, Simmental & Black Simmental Bulls with 2 Calves by neighbours Brahman Bull. Cows have been running continuously with same Bulls until past 2.5 months where they have been joined to VGQ Santa Bulls up until assessment. Please refer to above traits table for any blemishes, all to be factored into bidding. Ingle Downs is Prickly Acacia Free.
