Assessor Comments
Buyers, on offer is a neat line of 69 PTIC Milwillah, Gilmandyke and Springwaters blood Angus Heifers. Heifers present in ideal store to forward store condition leading into calving in approximately 8 weeks from early July for 7 weeks. Heifers display good length of body and frame to fill into good medium to large frame cows. Heifers have grown out well despite the dry seasonal conditions and being given no preferential feed whilst running amongst 250 breeding cows within a native rotational grazing system. Heifers are joined to high-indexing Kenny's Creek sires whereby the vendor meticulously selects for early growth and calving ease (please see attached photo of sire indexes). Note must be made of the calm temperament of the heifers allowing for calm and stress-free handling. Half of the offering of heifers were purchased locally as weaners off APlus and the remaining half having been purchased from the CTLX Blue Ribbon Sale. For further information, please get in touch.
