Cattle that are easy to handle & moved through the yards well. Heifers did become agitated when drafted from their calves, but settled quickly when returned.
All heifers stood well in the crush to be weighed, with only one being more difficult to mouth. Good temperament on these Heifers & calves showed when they stood under a tree in the paddock and let me walk around them to work out the bull/heifer calf counts.

Beautiful Hereford Heifers with the most gorgeous Autumn calves at foot. These Heifers were purchased from the premier NVLX breeder sale in January '24 as replacements for the herd, but due to dry conditions, they need to be moved on. The Muraca family has been breeding Hereford cattle at the top end of the breed for 3 generations now and it shows in the colour & type of these cattle. Highly recommended
