A SMALL BUT SMART LINE OF PTIC YOUNG ANGUS COWS. THESE COWS ARE 3.5 YEARS OF AGE. COWS ARE MOSTLY MEDIUM FRAME WITH EXCELLENT DEPTH OF BODY AND CONSTITUITION. VENDOR PURCHASES BULLS BULLS TARGETING MARBLING, POSITIVE FATS AND MEDIUM COW WEIGHTS. HERD IS BUILT PRINCIPALLY ON BOOROOMOOKA AND RENNYLEA ANGUS BLOODLINES. THESE FEMALES HAVE BEEN JOINED TO CALVE APROX FROM THE END SEPTEMBER FOR JOINING OF 5 WEEKS. BOTH JOINING SIRES ARE RENNYLEA AND BOOROOMOOKA SIRES. THE RIDGEMOUNT PASTORAL BREEDING PROGRAM IS A VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT PROGRAM TRYING TO PRODUCE EASY DOING, SOUND STRUCTURED, HIGH MARBLING PERFORMANCE CATTLE WITH A HIGH CONCENTRATION ON CALVING EASE AND DOCILITY. THE PROGENY FROM THIS PROGRAM HAS VERY GOOD FEEDLOT FEEDBACK. COWS HAVE ONLY JUST HAD THEIR CALVES WEANED OFF. PLEASE NOTE TWO OTHER LOTS OF PTIC FEMALES FROM THE SAME VENDOR IN THIS SAME SALE.
