Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cattle were handled in good facilities by experienced cattle handlers. They move quickly in the yards and through any gateways. Most would stand quietly when under no pressure in the yards and the race. 30 cows became moderately agitated in the crush and another 10 became highly agitated while being caught in the head bail and scanned and vaccinated. In the paddock they will mob up and move quickly but once together handle well if moved by experienced stockpersons.

Assessor Comments
A fair to good quality line of PTIC cows with very good quality calves at foot. They were purchased on A+ in April 2022 from central western NSW but were most likely bred in the pastoral areas of WA, NT or QLD. They are small to mostly medium frame cows with 25% large framed cows. They are mostly a composite flatback style cow with approx 10% showing 50 - 75% Bos Indicus content. The cows were joined to Angus bulls in mid September 2022 until assessment. They were scanned at assessment with 69 head PTIC (1-3 months) while one wet cow was NDP. Months in calf and cow EID is available. Three cows noted with capped hip, one cow with bottle teats and two cows with slight blue eye scarring in one eye. The cows have very good quality Angus cross calves at foot. The 35 steer and 35 heifer calves average 182 kg with the all but the two youngest being weanable now. Calves are 100% Life Time traceable. An opportunity to purchase a three in one unit that will produce quick cashflow.
